When you immerse yourself in cold water/ice, your body will feel tense and your muscles and blood vessels will constrict. Yet, there is something else happening. The cold water/ice will cause your lymphatic system to contract, a process called vasoconstriction. Vasoconstriction forces lymph fluids through your lymph nodes, thereby causing the lymphatic system to flow properly, like squeezing a lemon of its juices. This concept of cold water/ice immersion to constrict the lymphatic vessels may seem familiar; it’s just like putting ice on the body after an injury in order to constrict your blood vessels so that swelling will go down. Indeed, an often-cited study published by the Clinical Journal of Sport Medicine demonstrated that lymph flow in portions of the body is enhanced significantly when cold water is applied to those areas of the body, and that the flow rate is further improved if pressure is applied to that area as well.

The sensation of immersing yourself into cold water/ice may be intense and uncomfortable. But it can have a positive effect on the immune system and your overall health, something that you can do regularly along with proper diet, hydration and exercise. Of course, it’s best to consult a physician to discuss the risks and determine whether cold water immersion therapy is appropriate for you and your needs. It’s not only to go inside the ice, it’s something else, we prepare the body and mind for it, breathwork and warm up is very important.
Ice session it’s an experience to live that involve all with breathing, music, ice and more.

Moksha + Cupping: 1000 Cedis

Cupping is a type of alternative therapy that originated in China. It involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. The suction may facilitate healing with blood flow.

Proponents also claim the suction helps facilitate the flow of “qi” in the body. Qi is a Chinese word meaning life force.

Many Taoists believe that cupping helps balance yin and yang, or the negative and positive, within the body. Restoring balance between these two extremes is thought to help with the body’s resistance to pathogens as well as its ability to increase blood flow and reduce pain.

Cupping increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed. This may relieve muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair.
